Learn our story, from the beginning and into the future.
Ever since we opened our gates we have approached life (and death) differently. While some just see the end of a loved one’s life as a time for grief and mourning, we prefer to think of it as a time for reflection, appreciation and even celebration. This is evident in everything we do, from the way we conduct our services to the amenities we choose to offer. We are not a burial ground. We are a close knit community dedicated to honoring, sharing and preserving the amazing and inspirational stories that are life.
In a nutshell? Experience, professionalism, compassion, and empathy.
We've learned a lot over many years. Like how to present options without overwhelming. And how to meet the needs of many caring parties. People come to us in difficult times, and we respond kindness, calmness and expertise. Our goal is to create a beautiful occasion and make you feel welcome, always. We spend our days planning with families. We stay up to date with industry developments. And we make hard times a little easier.

Our two locations are deeply rooted in the Greenville community. Built around 1920, Westville in Greenville's recently revitalized West End began as a high school in the Tanglewood Building. It wasn't until 1925 when the two-story brick building was added and the name changed to Westville. It became a full high school during the 1931-1932 school term, when there was a graduating class of eight! Westville continued as an elementary school until the mid 1960's. In fact many of our expansive meeting rooms were classrooms and offices. The chapel was the school gymnasium and sometime dining hall. The building was used as an antiquities shop for a time, and later remodeled as a funeral home by the Jones family in the 80's.
We are honored to serve all members of far reaching communities of the Upstate in such a facility where many young minds of past generations were trained.
The Crematorium located near the ever expanding downtown was built in 1974, and updated in 1999 as South Carolina's first licensed Crematory Funeral Home and Cremation Society. We've always had our own crematory, and continue to help families with proven support, consistent service, and dignified options.
