Annie Belle Thomas

Annie Belle (nee Taylor) Thomas, 88, of Belton, SC, passed away on October 2, 2017, in Anderson, SC. A private cremation will be held.

Annie was born in Chattanooga, TN, the second daughter and second child of Isaac and Pallie Taylor, on June 17, 1929. Annie graduated high school in Chattanooga, attended several years of college and worked as a child care provider most of her life. She enjoyed traveling, reading, cooking, and spending time visiting and laughing with her many friends and family members. She was also a faithful member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church for more than 41 years. “Miss Annie” was dearly beloved and will be greatly missed by the many who loved and adored her.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Isaac Sr. and Pallie Bailey; two brothers, Isaac Jr. and Squire; and her husband, William Sr. She is survived by one son, William L. Thomas Jr., and daughter-in-law, Rhondda R. Thomas; two sisters, Alma Grace Tilghman and Mildred Goldsmith; two brothers, Fred Lee Taylor and Harold Taylor; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other relatives and friends.
