Brenda Joyce Wilson Young

Brenda Joyce Wilson Young passed peacefully Sunday morning leaving behind her beloved family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband, Glenn Evans Young, and children, Douglas Cameron Young (Ann), Mark Evans Young (Tosha), and Julie Ann Smoak (Bill), eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She leaves behind a legacy of love and faith. She had an adventure for life, much of which was experienced while boating with her husband experiencing new places and making friends near and far. She loved her Lord Jesus Christ and shared His love with everyone she met.

A memorial service with a reception following will be held on Saturday, Nov. 11th, 2017 at 2:00pm at Redeeming Grace Church, 2307 SC-14, Simpsonville, SC 29681. Her church family will also be honoring Brenda’s life during the worship service at 10:30am on Sunday, Nov. 19th, 2017 at James Island Christian Church, 12 Sawgrass Road, Charleston, SC 29412.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the James Island Christian Church for the Building Project in honor of Brenda Young.
