Glenda Kaye Grindstaff

Glenda Kaye Grindstaff, 80, widow of John Grindstaff, Jr of Greenville passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Born in Spruce Pine, NC she was the daughter of the late Bryson Bates and Dollie Buchanan. She was a loving wife, Mama, Nana and GG. She retired from the Harrison Group in 1987. She is survived by five children, Debbie Ellenburg (Jeff), Susan Taylor (Robert), Karen Medlin (Mark), Chuck Grindstaff (Sheila) and Kenny Grindstaff (Alison). Twelve grandchildren, Miranda, Morgan, Mackenzie, Jamey, Jereme, Drake, Zach, Nick, Bryson, Kim, Seth and Chase. And seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Carson and two sisters. Visitation followed by a memorial service will be held at West Gantt First Baptist Church 1452 White Horse Road, Greenville Saturday, June 2 from 1:00 – 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Washington Center PTA, 2 Betty Spencer Drive, Greenville 29607.
