Jackie “Lane” Garrison passed away peacefully on November 14, 2017 at his home in Central, SC at the age of 70. Lane is survived by his children: John Garrison (Lynne), Tess Schofield (Scott), Kelly Treadaway (Craig) and Robert Garrison (Ashelie); and his 8 loving grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Bette, and his parents.
He was born on April 23, 1947 to Jack and Nellie Garrison and grew up in the Clemson area. He was a much-loved manager in the textile industry. He was compassionate toward family, friends, co-workers, and his pets. In his later years, he took joy in working in his gardens on the family property.
In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be sent to the Oconee Humane Society at P.O. Box 966, West Union, SC 29696.
