He is survived by his wife; Patsy Smith Hooper, his son; Mitch Hooper, his daughter; Renee Seymour, 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, his sister; Becky Swartzel and his brother; Eddie Hooper.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his son; Chris, his daughter; Hope, and his brother; Jay.
