John A. Maietta, age 64, died on Tuesday October 24, 2017 in Greenville, South Carolina. John was born in Manhattan, New York to Anthony and Jennie Maietta.
John worked in the data processing field since leaving Hunter College in New York. He retired from Reuters, NA as Director of International Transaction Products Group. He was the author of “Goes Around Gone”, a novel published in 2012. He loved boating and in recent years enjoyed taking classes at Furman University OLLI Center.
John is survived by his wife, Caren, his son, Tony of Atlanta, his daughter, Allie of Greenville and his sister, Marianne of New York.
