Patsy Gray, 78, of Taylors, South Carolina passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at the Smith Phayer Hospice House on Wednesday, November 15, 2017.
She was the beloved wife of the late James “Gary” Gray and the daughter of the Floyd and Louise Miles.
Mrs. Gray is survived her brother, Tommy Miles of Greenville, and her sister, Joyce Moody (Bill) of Hartsville, South Carolina, her daughter, Lisa Gray Baker (Marion) and son, James “Jay” Gray, two grandchildren, Brittney Hailey (Michael) and Brooke Hayward (Christopher) and four great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Emily, Taylor, Alyssa, and Anderson.
She also played a role in many children’s lives as a child care provider at Early Childhood Daycare in Taylors, South Carolina. Much of her life was dedicated to loving babies as “Mrs. Patsy” and loving her grandchildren and great-children as “Nanny.”
She will be deeply missed by all.
A private interment will take place next to her husband at the M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veteran’s Cemetery in Anderson, South Carolina
Special appreciation from the family is given to Interim Healthcare Hospice Care in Greenville and her nurse, Heidi.
