Roy Eherts

Roy Eherts, 64, of Greer, South Carolina passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in Greer, South Carolina. Born on June 14, 1953 in Middletown, New York to his parents, Roy Eherts and Madleen (Corbine) Eherts, he lived in the upstate for 14 years and he worked as a truck driver in the trucking industry. Roy enjoyed being in the outdoors, fishing and watching NASCAR. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.

Roy is preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Halena Eherts; his mother in law, Hazel Butler; his brother, Danny Eherts and his sister, Donna Solomon. Those who will most treasure his memory are his wife of 13 years, Elaine Eherts of Greer, South Carolina; his daughters, Melissa Pastula (Tommy) of Greer, South Carolina, Crystal Ables (Richard Mizer) of Taylors, South Carolina, Joanie Medlock (Michael) of Grand Bay, Alabama; Madleen Stewart (Steven) Benson, North Carolina and Melissa Eherts (Bryan) of Sneads Ferry, North Carolina. His sons, Roy Eherts (Sue) of Windsor, New York, Jody Barton of the Home; his brother, Eddie Eherts (Lisa) Port Jervis, New York; his step father, Charles Pettit Meadville, Pennsylvania; numerous grandchildren, one great grandchild and numerous members of his extended family.
