Ana Maria Hollingsworth

Ana Maria Hollingsworth, 56, of Greenville, SC passed away the morning of Friday, November 26, 2021 at An Med Hospital in Anderson, SC. It is with great sadness we announce this passing of such an amazing woman. Born February 21, 1965 in Fountain Inn, SC, she was the daughter of Virginia Ann George (Jimmie George) of Piedmont, SC and Cecil Sixto Espino of Havana, Cuba which resided in Athens, GA. She was a lifelong resident of Greenville, SC and worked at many places in the area. She was of Christian faith and believed in working hard, having respect for others, living life to the fullest, and loving unconditionally. Maria was such a beautiful person, mother, sister, daughter, and friend. She believed in helping others and going above and beyond to care for her family and friends. There will never be another like her and we will cherish her memory and life forever. Maria was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Keri Hollingsworth of Piedmont, SC, brother Kenneth George of Piedmont, SC, step father Jimmie George of Piedmont, SC and her father Cecil Espino of Athens, GA. Surviving are her son Michael Fortner (Jennifer), of Easley, SC, daughter Katie Lawson (Cory) of Pickens, SC, mother Virginia George and sister Lynn Reynolds of Piedmont, SC and her grandchildren Macy, Ally, and Camden Fortner of Easley, SC, Brystle Gilstrap and Kash Chapman of Pickens, SC, Christopher, Adam, and Briana Olvera of Tijuana, Mexico. She loved her children and grandchildren more than life itself. Memorial Service will be held at Cannon Funeral Home & Memorial Park, 1150 N Main St, Fountain Inn, SC 29644 on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 2pm.
