Anne Addison Blackwell Hairston

Anne Addison Blackwell Hairston, 78, of Greenville died May 30th, 2022. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Tommy Brazel and Myrtle Mahon Addison. Anne was a well-known hair stylist in Greenville for over 57 years. Surviving Anne is her husband, C. Hogan Hairston, and her two children, Michael Evans Blackwell Jr (wife, Dondra) and Teresa Lewis (husband, Rusty Lewis). Anne leaves behind five grandchildren including Carson Lewis, McCarley Lewis, Graydon Lewis, Addison Blackwell and Owen Blackwell; and two great grandchildren, Guyer and Elly Lewis. A reception will be this Saturday June 4th at her home church, the Greenville ARP Church on Cleveland St., starting at 3pm with a service following at 4pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Greenville ARP Church on Cleveland St. or Meals on Wheels.
