After closing the business in 1981, she returned to dentistry and worked many years in the offices of Drs. Smith and Holliday. She enjoyed camping and was a member of the Travel Master Camping Club. She enjoyed many family trips to the pink house on Tybee Island, GA. She loved gardening, tailgating, and Clemson University football games. She was a great storyteller and loved a good joke. Whether you called her Mom or Mama, Grandmother, or Anne you are better for having shared her life and you just might have been the recipient of her delicious chicken salad or yummy brownies.
The family would like to thank the staff at the McCall Hospice House for the kind, loving care provided during her final days.
