Annemarie Reitz Howard

Annemarie Reitz Howard, Granny, passed away on August 3rd, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Germany on August 31, 1936, and as a new bride to an American soldier, moved to the United States in 1957. She proudly became a US citizen in 1991. She is predeceased by her husband of over 60 years, Paul Woodrow Howard, a son, Ben Eric Howard, and a grandson, Jordan Franklin Browder. She is survived by 3 children, daughters Heidi Keller (husband Gaylann) and Susi Smith and her other son, James Howard (wife Cindy Howard). She leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Amy Hall, Brook Dutton, Josh Howard, Graham Foster, Magan Boggs, Gabe Keller, and Brandon Howard. In addition, she had 12 great-grandchildren, Landen, Keely, Jada, Lola, Lucy, Lilly, Sunny, Tanner, Molly, Elisabeth, Aubree, and Savannah. She was a loyal, kind, and loving person and will be forever missed by her family and friends.
Services will be held at Triune Mercy Center, 222 Rutherford St., Greenville on Sunday, August 22nd. Visitation in the sanctuary 1:30-2:30, service immediately following.
