August "Augie" Wayne Clemons

August Wayne Clemons, 49, of Laurens passed away on May 3, 2021. Born August 13, 1971, in Floyd County KY. He was the son of John Wayne Clemons and Regina Ast.
Survivors include his sons: Cole and Luke Clemons of Taylors, his daughter, Jessica Scolari of Anderson, his Former spouse: Kimberly Cox Clemons other survivors include, his sisters Tonya Koceja (husband name is Steve) of Taylors and
Shania Burks of Ky, a Brother: Darrid Clemons of New Hampshire, Nephews: Grant Koceja of Taylors and Blake Pittman of Greer, a Niece: Olivia Koceja of Taylors.
August was a pipe welder. He loved to fish and play basketball. He never met a stranger, and probably most known for his ability to make you laugh. August was his nickname and most people called him that.
He graduated from Knott County central hs in 1989 and moved to Greenville right after. He attended Spartanburg tech for welding.
A memorial service will be scheduled in a few weeks.
Cole and luke, his sons meant the world to him.
Augie has finally found the peace he never could find on this earth and we are comforted by that.
