Barbara Jean Miller

Barbara Jean Miller, 75, of Piedmont SC passed peacefully in her home surrounded by family on March 18th, 2022. She was the daughter of the late Edgar and Lois Yates of Greenville SC.

Barbara is survived by two daughters, Teresa (John), and Tammy (Chris); one son, Joey (Angela); her brother, Roy Yates; one very special nephew, Jacob; two nieces, Dana (Steven), and Regina (Ray); five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild on the way; and her beloved dog, Abby.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Miller; her sister-in-law Virginia "Gin"; and her brother, Edgar L. Yates Jr.

Barbara was an avid reader and a bingo fanatic. Dining out was a favorite pastime of hers, she especially enjoyed the company of her sister-in-law "Gin". She loved her family, her friends, and her dog dearly and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
