A loving daughter, sister, moma, mema, and friend, Betty Ann Holden Garren, went home to be with the Lord on December 31, 2021. A native of Greenville, currently residing in Piedmont, she was born November 30, 1949 to the late Walden and Frances Holden. Her family remembers her unconditional love to everyone that she met, her selflessness, and willingness to do for others. She had retired from being a caregiver for the elderly and currently helped care for her great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Junior and Sue Holden. She is survived by her son, Kenny Garren; daughters, Kelly Garren and Sonya (Buddy) Thompson; grandchildren, Kynna, Kolby, Laken, Tyler, Lakel, Landon and Leigha; great grandchildren, Kylie, Carter, Arabella, Julian, Lawson, Kamden, Addison, Kaleb, Jerry, Hezzy, and Kynndra; sisters, Margaret (Melvin) Stonell, Vickie (Ted) Green, Nancy Garren; brother, Bobby (Helen)Holden; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and dog, Carlie. The family is sincerely grateful for the many prayers, acts of kindness, and support shown to them during this time of sorrow and bereavement. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30am on Friday, January 7th in the chapel of Westville Funerals. Entombment will follow the service at Graceland Cemetery West.
