She is the daughter of the late Charles Benjamin Silman and Bertha Inez Bunn.
Surviving are her two daughters; Beth Marett and Melissa Utz, three grandchildren; Devin Marett, Darien Marett, and Savannah Utz, three sisters; Molly Faye Bruce, Dorthy Rutherford Phipps, and Wylene Tanner.
