Betty Marvella Miller

June 22, 1935 — October 10, 2017

Betty Marvella Ginn Miller, entered the presence of our Lord at 1:00pm on October 10, 2017 after a battle with lung cancer.
Born in Greenville SC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Lorenzo Ginn and Alma Mae Staton. She was a faithful member of Donaldson Church of God.
Left to cherish her memories is a daughter, Bunny Whitehead of Greenville, Ronald Miller (Hellon) of Simpsonville, Bruce G. Miller of Easley, Michael Miller (Karen) and Sonny Miller of Greenville. She was called "Granny" by her Grandchildren, Roger, Rhonda, Carrie, Robin, Dan and Michael with their spouses. With thirteen great-grandchildren, Shanda, Christopher, Sarah, Danielle, Katie, Elizabeth, Logan, Maddie, Kristen, William, Amanda, Coral and Oceania and five Great-Great Grandchildren Shaleigh, Rosie, C.J. Rose and Bridgett.
She will always be considered blessed by a loving family and all those who know her. She instilled in her family the knowledge of her faith and love in Jesus and to love and cherish family and friends. With a kind heart, she believed in the obtaining of blessings by the living of a Godly life with hard work and dedication to service.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jasper B. Miller, a daughter Sarah G. Hutchinson, a son Joseph R. Miller, a grand-daughter Heather Miller and three sisters.
A visitation will be held Friday, October 13, 2017 from 7:00-8:00pm at Westville Funeral Home, 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611. The funeral service will be 10:00am Saturday at Donaldson Church of God, 1330 Fork Shoals Road, Greenville, SC at 10:00am. Burial will be following the service in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
