Betty J. Pierce

Betty J. Pierce, 81, passed away on September 29th, 2019 at Hospice House in Greenwood, SC. She was born on November 23rd,1937 in Dodge County, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joel F. Pierce, Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Holly P. Mock, and two grandchildren, Elizabeth (Brent) Jansen and Sarah Mock. She is also survived by two sisters, Joyce Eunice and Elaine (Toby) Moore, one brother, Billy (Edith) Jones, and many nieces and nephews.
Betty graduated from Georgia Baptist School of Nursing and Mercer University and was a OB/GYN nurse for over 40 years in Atlanta.
A memorial service will be held on October 19th, 2019 at St. Mark United Methodist Church at 11:00 am with visitation at 10:00am.
