Mr. Billy Ray Deitz

Billy Ray Deitz, 59, of Townville, S.C. passed away Saturday, July 6th, 2019 at the Rainey Hospice House in Anderson, SC. He was born Friday, April 1st, 1960 to his parents; Claude Ray Deitz Jr. and Elaine Gurley Deitz of Townville, SC, his paternal grandparents; Claude Ray Deitz Sr. and Margie Hedden Deitz and his maternal grandparents; Cumi Gurley and James Gurley.
He is survived by his wife; Janna L. Deitz of Townville, SC, his children; Kevin Deitz & wife Misty Deitz of Texas,Travis Deitz of SC, Dylan Deitz & wife Andrea Deitz of Townville, Daniel McAbee, and Shanna Deitz of Myrtle Beach, his 14 grandchildren, his sister; Debra Deitz and her special friend James Holmes of Belton, SC, his brothers; Dennis “Cotton” (Catherine) Deitz of Tennessee and Charlie Nixon of Anderson, SC.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corp and an electrian by trade for 40 years. He was of the Baptist faith.
A Memorial Service will be held in his honor by his family for his many friends to attend and share memories. Information will be posted on Facebook at a later date.
