Brenda Joan Smith Pye

Brenda Joan Smith Pye, 73, wife of Charles Pye, passed from this life Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Heartland Nursing Home East in Greenville, SC. Born in Oconee County she was a daughter of the late Rea and Rev. Floyd Smith, Sr. Brenda was a member of Piedmont Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include her children, Jody Pye, Charlene Lindsay (Paul), and Floyd Pye; grandchildren, Amanda Lindsay, Destiny Salazar (Toni), and Aaron Lindsay; and one great-granddaughter, Jaime Salazar. She is also survived by her brother, JB Smith, and sister Kathryn Young. Predeceased were a brother, Rev. Floyd Smith, Jr., and a sister, Evelyn Smith.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, November 19 in the Chapel at Cremation Society of SC-Westville Funerals, 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611. Visitation will be from 11 - 11:30 AM, with the service to follow at 11:30 AM.
