Brian (Boogieman) VanBuskirk, 59, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on December 18, 2021. He will be dearly missed by his wife, Vera Brock-VanBuskirk, and his children; daughter Misty Devore and her husband Derrick; daughter Lindsay Thesing and her husband Sean; son Shaun Pittman and daughter in law Jessica Zimprich. His 5 grandkids Dashaun Devore, Aubrey Pittman, Audric Devore, Tattianna Devore, and Tallulah Thesing. He leaves behind his dad Loren (Pops) VanBuskirk, brothers Joseph (Joey) VanBuskirk, Robbie (Dougie) VanBuskirk, and sister Dana Turner and her husband Chris. Brian is preceded in death by his mom
Shirley Extine, brother John VanBuskirk, sister Nikki Morrow and son Jakob Zimprich.
Brian was a hard-working man quick-witted and the life of any and every party he ever attended, he was loved and respected by so many. He was a handsome man and loved to charm women. He was a top-notch bullshitter but could tell a story like no other. He loved working with his hands, a true gift that made him an outstanding Craftsman and contractor. When Brian wasn't building homes he loved partying, his motorcycles, playing his music loud, drumming, and drawing back in the day. But more than anything he loved spending time with all his grandkids. You may be gone Brian but you will never be forgotten and you will always be loved and missed forever.
