Charles Martin Cobb

January 17, 1954 — September 20, 2022

Charles Martin “Marty” Cobb, age 68, of Taylors, South Carolina, passed away on September 20th after a well lived life. Marty is survived by his loving wife Sherry Cobb; daughters: Dawn (Jason) Allnatt, and Lauren (Karl) Woodham; son: Josh (Rachel) Cannon; grandchildren: Peyton Ivey, Payge Allnatt, Maryann Cannon, Evelynn Cannon; sister: Jackie (Tommy) Morgan, Dell (Walt) Panagakos, Gena (Tyler) Greer, Lynn Cobb; along with numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Jasper C. “JC” Cobb and Mauddell Cobb Rushton; brothers: Cleve Cobb, and Jeff Cobb.
Marty was a gentle, giving man who worked tirelessly to ensure that his family had everything they needed. He lived a full and warm life, filled with joy. Marty was a retired law enforcement officer and a truck driver. He served his community his whole life with pride. His hobbies included volunteer work for church and several other organizations. He also enjoyed cutting grass, video games, sports and racing. Marty will be forever loved and remembered. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
Receiving of friends and family will be held on September 24, 2022, at Lee Road Baptist Church, located at 1503 E. Lee Road, Taylors, SC 29687 starting at 11 A.M., followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 P.M
