Mr. Charles Edward Everett III

It is with great sadness that Charles Edward Everett, III, known to family and friends as “Chuck”, passed away early Sunday morning on July 29th, 2018, at the age of 61 years. Charles will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 37 years, Susan and his children Stephanie and Charles (Kelly). Charles will also be sadly missed by his siblings Claudia Seay, Cheryl (Pete) Smith, Cecilia (Jerry) Robbins, Carla (Mark) Gollwitzer, Carl(Dawn) Everett.

Chuck was born on June 18th, 1957, in Davenport, IA to Charles E. Everett, Jr. and Luella Everett. As a result of Meningitis, Chuck became deaf in his infancy. Supported by his family, he graduated the SC School for the Deaf and Blind in 1977 and received an Associate’s Degree from Tampa Institute of Technology in 1983. Chuck was heavily involved in his school football, partaking in the All-American Football team. He was an avid car expert enjoying any activity involving repairing, building, and admiring classic cars.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 4, at 1:00 P.M., at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 300 O’Neal Road, Greer, SC 29651. An Interpreter will be present for deaf attendees.
