Charles Louis Garrard

Charles Louis Garrard, 72, of Easley, passed away on January 29, 2022. A native of Aiken, SC, he was the son of the late Edmond and Myrtle Richardson Garrard. He loved his family, especially being a hands-on papa to his grandchildren. He spent the last few years surrounded by his family. He took care of his neighbors, often cutting their grass. He enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves and football and playing Santa for over 20 years throughout Pickens and Greenville counties. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Judy York Garrard; sons, Charles (Jamie Eckert) Garrard, Jr., Nathan (Mandy) Garrard, and Jason (Christine) Garrard; siblings, Marie Ray, Dorothy Smith, Edmond (Joanne) Garrard, Jr., James (Carmen) Garrard, Lynn (Bill) Upton, Kathy (Mark) Swartz, and Bobbie Richardson; grandchildren, Trent, Madison, Destiny, Haley, Ciera, Eastton, Abby, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Jason, Brittany, CJ and Bradley and great grandchildren, Kamree, Kaizyn, and Brody. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00pm on Friday, February 4, 2022 in the chapel of Westville Funerals. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
