Charles Gregory Hatchett

February 11, 1942 — January 4, 2022

Charles Gregory Hatchett, 79, beloved husband of Donna Clyde Ward Hatchett, went to be with the Lord on January 4, 2022. Born in Birmingham, AL, Charles Hatchett was the son of the late Charles Maben and Lola Mae Ingram Hatchett. A life-long Alabama fan, he was a graduate of the University of Alabama. Pastor Hatchett served the Lord at Camp Joy in Whitewater, WI, and was the Camp Director for over 40 years.

Surviving in addition to his wife of nearly 60 years are five children, Scott (Tina) Hatchett of Wisconsin, Todd (Kathleen) Hatchett of Florida, Jennifer (David) Boyd of South Carolina, Angela (Aaron) Langendorfer of South Carolina, and Julia (Nathan) Houck of Pennsylvania; twenty-two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

On Monday, January 10, 2022, services will be held at Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 115 Cedar Lane Rd. Greenville, SC 29601. Visitation will be from 10 AM-noon, with the funeral at noon. Interment will follow at Coleman Memorial Cemetery, Travelers Rest. In place of flowers, memorials may be sent to the JBC Foundation, 1700 Park St, Ste 102, Naperville, IL 60563.
