Mr. Chris Oliver Jones

Mr. Chris Oliver Jones 81, of Easley, SC passed away Monday, November 19th, 2018. He was born Monday, July 26th, 1937 to his parents; the late Hoke Smith and Murrel Elaine Dorn Jones.
Chris will be missed greatly by his son; Winferd and his wife Rhonda Jones, his grandchildren; Tony Henry (Luci), Tonya Carter (David) and Kevin Jones, his great grandchildren; Devin Carter, Kaitlyn Carter, Bryson Jones, Ethan Jones and Olivia Henry, his sisters; Virginia Boggs, Dora Miles, and Linda Dunn, his brothers; Earnest Jones and Paul Jones, and his extended family; Travis, Mackinzie, Curtis Jr., Cooper, Brianna, Cheyenne, and Dalton.
Along with his parents, Chris was predeceased by his daughter; Sandra A. Henry, his sister; Betty Ruth Bundrick, his brother; Thurmond Jones and an extended family member; Doyle.
He retired from the Greenville News after 34 years of service. An avid golfer, who enjoyed bowling, softball and NASCAR. Chris was into fishing and camping, especially with his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 24th, 2018 from 1-3pm at 107 Forest Park Dr. Easley, SC 29642.
