Daniel Wesley Graddy

Daniel W. Graddy, 83, passed away on Tuesday, June 15th, 2021 at his home in Piedmont, SC. He was born on September 16th, 1937 in Norwich, Connecticut to his parents: the late L.B. and Kathleen Graddy.

Daniel Graddy enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country from May 31st, 1960 to May 24th, 1964. Following his service in the Air Force he worked for many years as a Master Plumber for Daniel Construction and also as a Mechanic.

He married the love of his life, Jonnie Graddy on June 5th, 1986, sharing his life with her for nearly 24 years before her passing on May 3rd, 2010. Together they had a total of eight children, fourteen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife Jonnie; three of his children: Charles W. Graddy, Mitchell Graddy and Ben McAlister; two of his brothers: Bill Graddy and Rev. David Graddy; and his parents L.B. Graddy and Kathleen Graddy. He is survived by five of his children: Dale Emming, Debbie Bryant, Wanda Isle, Pat Morse, and Sandy Dermid; and one brother, Eddie Graddy.

A “Celebration of Life” Memorial Service will be held at Conestee Assembly of God, 23 Main St, Greenville, SC 29636, beginning at 11:30am on Saturday, June 26, 2021 with a meal and fellowship to follow.
