Danny Lee Burrell

Danny Lee Burrell, 58, was called home on September 6, 2018 at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Although having battled an illness, he passed away peacefully with his two daughters holding his hands.

Born in Greenville, South Carolina, he was the youngest child of the late Earl Harold and Laura Pepper Burrell.

Danny was the owner and operator of Burrell’s Body Shop in Greenville, South Carolina since 1980. He had a passion for automobiles, wood working and music. He enjoyed bragging on cars he had painted and was always making something with wood. A member of New Life Baptist Church, he shared his love of music by playing guitar at services.

Danny was a loving and devoted father and grandfather. He was always there for his girls, “Pooky and Peanut”, no matter what.

In addition to his parents, Danny is predeceased by his sister, Emily Putnam. He is survived by his daughters, Misty Marchbanks and Ashley Burrell; grandchildren, Nathaniel Marchbanks, Haley Marchbanks, Evie Marler and Alexander Lawson; sister, Patricia Tripp; brothers, Earl Burrell and Richard (Tresea) Burrell; brother-in-law, James Putnam.

A Memorial Service will be from 2-4 pm on Thursday September 13, 2018 at Cremation Society of South Carolina. 6010 White Horse Road Greenville South Carolina 29611
