David grew up in Greenville and moved to New Jersey after his parents’ untimely deaths. David attended every Sunday he was able, proudly wearing his favorite red velvet sport coat. Known as D'Fish, he was a long-time friend of Bill W. and a member of the Horseshoe group in Columbia. David was an inspiration to all who knew him and will be remembered for his fierce determination, his love of family, times spent at “the Lake”, and his crystal blue eyes. A memorial service was held at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church on January 13, 2022.
