David Lee Payne Thompson

David Lee Thompson, 53, of Marietta, passed away October 12, 2021. A native of Greenville County, he was the son of Kenneth Payne and the late Cherlene Arms Payne of Greer. He was a retired surgical nurse and a graduate of Clemson University. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church of Greer.
Surviving are his husband, Brandon Thompson of Marietta, son, Bryson Payne of Simpsonville; brother, Mark Payne of Greer; and very special friend, Tammy Patters (Bill) of Simpsonville.
David was a warm, loving, thoughtful, and wonderful man who loved life and family.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
