Mr. Denis E. “Denny” Charbonneau

Starting at a young age, Denis was passionate with horses, hockey and was very dedicated to his family. He had a love for people. He was able to create a loving family of his own, with his children, many grandchildren and a great granddaughter. He was always joking with his grandkids, Chris nicknamed him chicken-legs, Wyatt lost to him 6-0 on a game and he always made sure he knew, and he always asked his granddaughter Anna where her fake boyfriends are. He would always embarrass the kids blasting Ring of Fire in the truck dropping them off at school or called Chris- Crispy Cream or CreCre, they will miss their papa very much. His passion was to protect and provide for his family. He could entertain everyone with his humor with his boisterous laugh and voice. He spent 17 years working at the hotel as mid-management making snow, he had the honor to make snow for many World Cups in his home country Canada. He was a successful entrepreneur, entertaining people with his folklore stories and wagon rides. He has put many miles under his boots by hauling cargo from coast to coast, always wanting to come home to be with his loving family. He was a wonderful provider and a faithful man. Denis decided to move to the US and for the last 16 years has blessed all those who came to know him. He was a hardworking loving man that always helped his family grow and never complained. A dedicated husband who always went out of his way to better their lives. He was a humble and faithful man, he read his bible and prayed everyday for his family and friends. He had a language barrier, but it never stopped him from communicating. His inner spirit was so profound that he was changing lives around him and everywhere he went. His smile will be missed, he was the light in the room. The mountains will miss him roaming on his horse and the streets of his home will miss the folklore of the little red wagon and jingles of the harnesses. He is with his father and mother watching over his family on earth and he is entertaining the Angles on the golden streets of heaven driving the Lord around in his carriage. He is orchestrating the Angles to protect his family and friends.

Mr. Denis Charbonneau, passed away peacefully with his family by his side Monday, May 20th, 2019. He was born Saturday, June 2nd, 1956 in Saint-Donat, Canada to his parents; the late Leo-Paul and Rita Charbonneau.
He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife; Diane Charbonneau, his children; Madeleine Page and Michael Charbonneau, his grandchildren; Cheyene Bacon, Dalton Bacon, Garrett Bacon, Annabel Chenier, Wyatt Hughey, and Christopher Page. His great granddaughter; Layla Horton, his sisters; Rene Charbonneau and Irene Charbonneau, his brother; Remi Charbonneau, and his many living cousins in and from Quebec, Canada.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Velocity Church at 1720 Reid School Rd. Taylors, SC 29687.
