Diane B. Strickland, 64, passed on December 11, 2020. She was born to the late Barnon L.Bailey, Sr. and Sarah O. Bailey in Wadesboro, North Carolina on January 16, 1956.
She raised 2 children Kim King (Stacy), Lisa Mayberry. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Kelsey, Brooke, Crystal, Zachery, and Lexi and 3 great-grandchildren: Kameron, Isabella, and Paisley, brother Claude Bailey (Harriet), sisters Jean Bryant (James),
and Linda Bailey and many friends and loved ones.
Diane was preceded in death by her brothers Barnon L. Bailey, Jr. and John M. Bailey, and
sister Audrey Autry.
Diane attended Rockingham High School, worked at Walmart before retiring. She enjoyed
fishing and spending time with her family. She will be remembered as a loving, caring, mother, nanny, and sister.
A memorial service will be held in Lilesville, NC at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
