Dietrich L.. Hogue
Jan. 17, 1970 – Feb. 28, 2021
Man of God, Husband, Father, Son, and Friend.

Dietrich Lamont Hogue was born January 17, 1970 in Fort Wayne, IN. He is the second son of Joyce L. Travis and Madison Hogue Jr. It was a very peaceful setting on February 28, 2021, when the Lord saw it fit to call him home to glory. Dietrich was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN. He attended Northrup High School. Some years later he decided to advance his education and he received an Associate Degree in Surgical Technology.
Dietrich chose Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age. After Dietrich moved to South Carolina, he found the Solid Rock Church family that surrounded, supported and loved to watch him grow with Christ, until his transition to be with the Lord. Dietrich had a love for life and joy in his heart. He had a wonderful smile! Dietrich loved spending time with family, whether it was going on a hike, or just staying home playing games, or BBQing. Dietrich was a member of the Ruff Ryders Motorcycle Club. He absolutely loved being a part of this extended family. He loved to ride his bike and loved the comradery that came with this organization.
Left to cherish Dietrich’s memory, big heart and great smile are his wife, Laura Hogue, and children, Savanna Davis, Jacob Davis, Lucas Davis, Ky’Onnie Hogue and Ramaurri Wilkes, Isiah J. Danforth, Jayden McGraw, Kamerean Hogue. His Mother, Joyce Travis Hogue. His brothers, Trent A. Hogue (Tina) and Mark (Jocko) Corey. Grandmother, Beverly Messer. In-Laws, Jeff and Linda Messer. Aunts; Mary Davis, Annette Arrington (Will), Adrienne L. Travis, Samantha Hogue (Jerry), Cynthia Morgan (Ivory), Gwendolyn Williams (James), Carolyn Brown (Eric), Charlotte Richmond (Ricardo). Dietrich’s favorite quote:
“GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME, ALL THE TIME GOD IS GOOD!”
