Donald LLoyd Markle

Donald Lloyd Markle, age 84, of Greer, SC, formerly of Kalamazoo, MI went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 9, 2020. He was the son of the late Arloe and Theresa Markle of Kalamazoo County, MI. He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Helen Jane Markle, who recently died on August 2, 2020.
Donald is survived by two sons, Duane Markle (Marsha) and Scott Markle (Joanne); a daughter, Sue Markle Lawrick (Greg); grandsons, Robert Markle (Ashley), Nicholas Lawrick, and Stephen Lawrick; and a soon-to-be-born great granddaughter. Don is also survived by one brother, four sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
Don was a letter carrier for the USPS in Kalamazoo, MI for more than 25 years. He retired in 1992 and relocated with Helen to Greer, SC to be near their grandchildren. Don loved watching sports, playing cards with his family, and watching his grandsons grow up.
