Doris Josephine Swaney

It is with great sadness that the family of Doris Josephine Swaney announces her sudden passing on August 8, 2019 at the age of 63. Doris was born on June 3, 1956 to Clara NeSmith and Jessie LeCroy in Anderson, South Carolina. She got married to her best friend, Sammy Swaney on July 13, 1978 in Anderson, SC.
Doris will be lovingly remembered by husband, Sammy Swaney; her mother Clara NeSmith, her children: Melissa Vaughn, Kimberly Swaney, Kenneth Swaney, Tiffany "Hope" Swaney, and Sam Swaney. Doris will be deeply missed by her 6 grandchildren; Josh Haynie, Exavier Swaney, Destynee Swaney, Kalia "Deja" Swaney, Arieana Swaney and Amiyah Swaney. Doris will forever be remembered by her siblings; Daisy Trotter, Patricia Saxon, Bill LeCroy, Tony Parris, Kenneth Parris, and Randy Parris. She had multiple neices and nephews.
Doris was preceded in death by, Jessie LeCroy, Kay LeCroy, Pamela Lynn Haynie, Butch LeCroy and Sherri Parris.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1103 Brown Rd, Belton, SC on August 17, 2019 at 1pm
