Dorthey Butler Kirby

Dorthey Butler Kirby, 70, widow of Berle Eugene Kirby, passed away January 19, 2021. She was born in Georgia, the daughter of James Benson and Sarah Butler. Mrs. Kirby was an LPN with Martha Franks and the Whitten Center for many years. She attended Renovation Church of Simpsonville.
Surviving are two children, Michael Kirby (Amy) of Fountain Inn, and Wendy Bauer and fiance Brandon Moody of Greenville; six grandchildren, Christian, Tyler, Kaitlyn, Emilie, Autumn, and Noah; three greatgrandchildren; and one brother, James Benson Butler of Trenton, GA.
A private service was held on Jan. 25, 2021 at Renovation Church.
