Earl Richard Knowles Jr

Earl Richard Knowles Jr., age 64, of 441 Mount Pleasant Est Rd. Laurens, SC passed away on December 10, 2020, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Durham, NC, he was the son of the late Earl Richard Knowles Sr. and Ima Grace Reeves Knowles. He is survived by his wife Sheila Lynn Knowles. In addition, he is survived by a daughter, Heather Leonardo of Simpsonville, a granddaughter Jordan Watt, two step-daughters, Christina Spahr of Greenville and Jessica Shirley (Matthew) of Greenwood, a step-son Sean Spahr of Greenville, three step-grandchildren, Hayden, Anthony, and Cheyanne, two brothers, Patrick Knowles (Debra) of Hickory Tavern and David Knowles (Helen) of Hickory Tavern and a sister Debra Johnson (Robert) of Hickory Tavern as well as several nieces and nephews. Earl is also survived by a very special friend Danielle Simmons.
Earl had made lots of great friends, he's never met someone who stayed a stranger and always had a story to tell that would put a smile on anyone's face. Earl was and is loved by many people and will be deeply missed.
The family will hold a celebration of life at a later date. Cremation will be performed by the Cremation Society of South Carolina.
