Together they raised a family in Wilton, CT where they resided for 32 years in the home that Ed built. In 1994 they moved to Simpsonville, South Carolina to be closer to their grandchildren. In addition to being a caring husband and father Ed was an avid outdoorsman. His greatest joy was spending time on his property in Upstate, New York tending to his garden and enjoying hunting on his land. Ed leaves behind his loving wife of 63 years, Dorothy. He also leaves behind two daughters, Wendy Pavia and her husband Anthony and their daughters, Ashley, Nicole and Sophie; and Nancy Stafford and her husband David along with their children, Ryan, Kelsey Nelson (Michael) and Sarah Stafford (Curt Harper).
