Effie Lee Headen Coward, 71, of Spartanburg, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022. A native of Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Lee Roy and Stella Louise Dove Headen. She filled her home with the things she loved, family, flowers, and antiques. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thad Headen; sister, Miriam Smith, and 5 infant brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, David Joe Coward; son, Joe (Debra) Coward; siblings, Anita, James, and Buddy Headen; 7 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00PM on Friday, April 22 at Westville Funerals.
