Efrain Crespo

On Friday, January 1, 2021, the Crespo/Amado/Ortiz/Guerra family unexpectedly lost their hero after Efrain Crespo suffered a stroke and brain hemorrhage. During his final hours, he was surrounded by family who loved him dearly and wanted to be near him although he was unconscious.
Efrain’s life would seem short to some, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. His big smile, never ending jokes and heart of care and service brought much joy to his family and friends.

Efrain was born on January 20, 1962 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. At a young age, he enjoyed spending time with his father through activities such as fishing, hunting for mangoes, horse riding, and spending time at the farm. Due to his passion for cars, as a young adult you’d find him at car racing events with his friends. This passion for cars led him to become a Mechanic as an adult. He also had a passion for construction and always wanted to play the trombone.

In his mid twenties, he fell in love with Zorgalin Candelaria, a secretary. Efrain had two children and Zorgalin had one before they both had four children together. They also adopted two children in the early 2000’s. After 10 years of undeniable love, Efrain and Zorgalin married on the month of December in the year of 1998.

Although Efrain has joined his beloved father (Bonifacio) and sisters (Marilyn & Yolanda) in heaven, he is survived by his beloved mother (Margarita), brother (Carlos) and sisters (Sonia N, Sonia M, Elba, Angela, Sara & Mabelyn).
This has been a loss that will forever mark his family and faithful few friends. His humor, care and presence will never be forgotten. His family rejoices that the good Lord has called his son back home and is now at full peace.
