Elana Rae Travelstead

It is with great sadness to announce the death of Elana Rae Travelstead of Greenville, South Carolina. Elana was taken from this world and called to Heaven on Thursday, June 11th, 2019 at age 39. She was born Thursday, December 6th, 1979 in Homer, Alaska. She grew up all over the Kenai Peninsula, learning to fish with her dad, camping with her family, and loving the mountains. She graduated from Skyview High School in 1998, in Soldotna, Alaska and moved to the Southern Carolinas soon after. Elana is survived by her mother Therese Travelstead and brother Aaron Travelstead. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at the Cremation Society of SC-Westville Funerals from 4pm--6pm on Friday, July 19th 2019. Located at 6010 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC 29611. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Greenville Humane Society www.greenvillehumane.com . Elana loved animals and was a life long dog owner. Elana was a beautiful woman with an infectious laugh. She always saw the good in people and she loved Jesus.
