Esther Rios Caldwell

Esther Rios Caldwell, 84, of Spartanburg, SC passed away peacefully on Friday, April 16th, 2021, at Lake Emory Post Acute Care. She was born March 16th, 1937, in Austin, Texas to the late Ernest Rios and Mary Atkin Austin,Tx. She was the widow of the late Eugene Caldwell.
Survivors include her children, Steve Caldwell of Spartanburg, SC, Scott Caldwell of Spartanburg, SC, Jean Marie Tangeman and husband Nathan of Inman, SC, Brian Caldwell and wife Marites of Pauline, SC; 8 grandchildren and 7 great -grandchildren; and her brother, Danny Atkins of Austin, Tx.
Along with her parents and her husband, Esther was predeceased two daughters in law, Lou Ann Caldwell and Phyllis Caldwell.

Memorials can be made to Interim Hospice of Spartanburg
A private service will be held at a later date.
The family are at their respective homes.
