On May 16, 2022, Loretta Hyde Kirkpatrick of Greer, SC passed from this earthly home to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ forever. Her family was always the most important people in her life. She loved them more than anything in the world. Having lived a blessed life and leaving behind wonderful memories, Loretta is now eternally resting in peace.
Surviving are her three children Alan Kirkpatrick, Philip Kirkpatrick (Natalie) and Becky Kirkpatrick Patton (Brian), three grandchildren Blake Kirkpatrick, Kade Kirkpatrick (Stephanie) and Allison Kirkpatrick, four great-grandchildren Emma, Olivia, Alec, and Renee, and many loving friends, including friends from high school.
Loretta was born and raised in Canton, NC. She graduated from Canton High School in 1957. She started her family in Waynesville, NC, prior to moving to Greer. Loretta was predeceased by her mother Nota Mae Green Hyde and her father J.B. Hyde. She was the youngest of ten children, who predeceased her. Her four brothers were James, Gene, Wiley, and Frank Hyde. Her six sisters were Della Lowery, Willie Mae Frady, Rachael Swanger, Mae Catherine Hyde, and Betty Hyde.
Loretta will be forever missed.
