Henry McCarson

William Henry McCarson, Jr., 67, beloved husband of Stacy Wright McCarson, went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2021. Born in Greenville, Henry was a son of the late William Henry, Sr. and Flora Birchfield McCarson. He was a career brick mason, but most recently was a salesman with Kohler Power Equipment. Henry was a member of Marietta First Baptist Church. An Avid racing fan, he even sponsored teams for his son-in-law and grandson.
Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Tashia McCarson, Coty Wright, and Casey Gilbert (Matt); seven grandchildren, Kane, Kaiden, Carson, Brooklyn, Jaxon, Whitleigh, and Axel; one brother and four sisters, Bobby McCarson, Becky Freeman, Janice Case, Lynn Knight, and Frances Chandler. Predeceased were a son, Terry McCarson; three brothers and one sister, Franklin McCarson, Ronnie McCarson, Ray McCarson, and Annalou Cureton.
Services will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Marietta First Baptist Church, 2936 Geer Hwy., Marietta, SC 29661. Visitation will be from 1 - 2 PM, with the memorial service at 2 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the MFBC Building Fund.
