Jack Ansel Davis

Jack Ansel Davis, 70, of Easley, SC passed from this life to his Heavenly eternal life on March 28, 2020.

He was born in Pelzer, grew up in Greenville, moved to Easley, and resided in the Dacusville community.

Jackie was the son of the late George Avery and Nellie Sue Davis. He was preceded in death by his brother Tommy Davis. He was a proud graduate of Parker High School, Class of 1967, a Vietnam Veteran, and a member of VFW Post 9273.

After spending many years as an insurance sales representative, he went on to work in the Facilities Maintenance Group at Greenville Technical College and retired from there.



Jackie was survived by his loving wife Sandra Kay Davis and three children, two daughters, Jennifer Kay Bridges (Robert), Elizabeth Davis Herron, and one son, William Avery Davis (Julie). Also, one sister, Belinda Reynolds, and six grandchildren, Lexie Bridges, Caleb Ledford, Bobby Bridges, Noah Bridges, Andrew Jack Cleyton “JC” Herron, and Ryleigh Davis. In addition to his family, he leaves behind many extended family members and friends that he loved dearly.

Due to CDC restrictions concerning COVID-19, the family will have a private viewing on Monday, April 6. He will then be buried at MJ “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson. A Memorial Service will be scheduled for a later date.
