Jack D. Roberts born March 31, 1942, in Gainesville Ga. and joined his parents and three siblings in their heavenly home on December 15, 2018. He was the son of the late R.D and Iness Elrod Roberts. He came from a long lineage of carpenters and spent his life in this trade.
He is survived by daughter Deanna (David) Burgess and son, Jack “Jay” Dean Roberts II, grandchildren Autumn, Dylan, Brandon, and Holly. Brother Roy Roberts, and sisters Carolyn Smith, Wilda Ethridge, Sara Hawkins, Becky Berry, and Pam Wheeler.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister Reba Mary Roberts, brothers Daniel Wade Roberts, and David Lawrence Roberts.
Family will receive friends at Freedom Center Assembly of God (Homeland Park) on Wednesday, December 19 from 11 am till 12 pm, followed by a celebration of his life officiated by Pastor Phil Sears.
