James Furman Bagwell

James Furman Bagwell passed away Thursday, August 2, 2018 at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville South Carolina. He was 65.

James was retired from Laurens Ball Glass Company, he was an active member of Beaverdam Baptist Church. In James’s free time you would find him traveling with his wife, Wanda to Gatlinburg, Tennessee or in the stands at a NHRA race which he thoroughly enjoyed.

James is survived by his loving wife, Wanda Bagwell of Gray Court, South Carolina; his son, Brandon Bagwell (Rebecca) of Winter Haven, Florida; his daughter, Keshia Evans (Kevin) of Joanna, South Carolina; his sister, Mary Jo Parker (Terry) of Waterloo, South Carolina; his brothers, David Bagwell (Teena) of Clinton South Carolina, Terry Blackwell (Pattie) of Reidville, South Carolina. James had seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren that he loved spending time with. He was a wonderful Papa. James is preceded in death by his mother and father, Ruby & Furman Bagwell and his brothers, Cecil & William Bagwell.

Services to honor James’s life will be at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the Beaverdam Baptist Church, 1555 Beaverdam Church Road, Mountville, South Carolina 29370, (864) 682-2511. Officiating the services will be Pastor Phil Bryson and Pastor Monte Osborne. The church will be providing a meal for the family at 12:00 P.M.
