James Cannon Byers

James Cannon Byers, 75, of Greenville, passed away on December 1, 2021.
Born in Hendersonville, NC he was the son of Joseph Riley Byers and Helen Lucille Shephard.
He was predeceased by his three brothers; Harold Byers, Phillip Byers, and Joseph Byers.
Survivors include a sister, Becky Hayes, his daughter, Jennifer Presley, a granddaughter, Sydney Presley and great-granddaughter Violet Martinez, and several nieces and nephews. He retired from Cadillac Products in Dallas, GA. He enjoyed old cars, football and movies. He was a US Army Veteran and of the Methodist Faith.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, December 12th at 2 o’clock at the American Legion Post 3, 430 N. Main Street #2027, Greenville, SC 29601.
In lieu of flowers a donation to the American Legion Post 3 would be greatly appreciate.
