James Waco Dodson, 65, sadly passed away Sunday, May 2nd, 2021 at his home in Oconee County. Born in Pickens County, SC, he is the son of the late James Paul Dodson and Estelle Cox Dodson.
He was an honest, hardworking, outgoing: Son, Husband, Father, Papa, Brother, and friend. He enjoyed fishing, anything racing, front porch sitting, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife Georgia Anne Dodson; his three children April Dawn Dodson (Randall), Tammy Dawn McAlister (Josh), and James Waco Dodson II (Tiffany); his siblings Paula Anderson (Donnie), Grace Pownee Clayburn, Patricia Raye Ferguson (Gerald), Carl Watzel Dodson (Kathy); and 7 grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother, George Waldo Dodson.
His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure. He is loved beyond words and is missed beyond measure.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
